Taking a break at Hope Lake

At 1.5 miles, little Hope Lake is a natural place to drop the packs and take a well-earned break at the junction with the Pacific Crest Trail. You can see that there are some beaten camps on the far shore, but don't despair, back behind are some smaller but better ones. The trail to the left heads northeast to Mig Lake, which is similar to this one. The way to the right heads uphill towards the ridge.
